Tampa Chick-fil-A goes viral for wild Christmas lights display

by Andrew Harlan

The Chick-fil-A at 6299 W Waters Ave in Tampa is lighting up the holiday season in a big way. For nearly 30 years, this beloved Tampa location has been transforming into a dazzling Christmas lights spectacle, drawing crowds from across Florida. Go for the nuggets, stay for the holiday magic.

Franchise owner Jason Dittman recently told Tampa Beacon that the display features over one million twinkling lights, and it takes more than a month to decorate the restaurant. From the drive-thru to the parking lot, every corner of the property is covered in festive lights, creating a magical scene for both locals and visitors alike.

Even if you’re not stopping by for a meal, the lights are worth the drive. The stunning display is visible every evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The light display will remain up through January 4.

Chick-fil-A Waters Avenue also hosts visits with Santa Clause. You can see a full holiday events calendar on its Facebook.
